This week has been quite eventful, and it culminated with an exciting and action-packed sports session this Saturday morning. Despite the initial setback of not having a Junior Hub session on Monday due to the bank holiday, the team made a strategic decision to reschedule it for Wednesday afternoon. The outcome surpassed expectations as it turned out to be one of the busiest sessions to date.
Now, as the summer period approaches, the focus is on preparing for the transition of the football sessions back to Victoria Park. This move signifies a significant shift in venue and opens up new possibilities for engaging with the local community, particularly the young people in the area. Victoria Park offers a picturesque and inviting environment that is bound to enhance the overall experience for everyone involved.
Engaging further with the local young people is a primary goal of the team, as we understand the importance of providing positive outlets and activities that promote healthy lifestyles. By bringing the football sessions to Victoria Park, we hope to create a sense of community, encourage active participation, and build lasting relationships with the young individuals in the area.
Overall, this week’s bustling schedule and the upcoming move to Victoria Park reflect a vibrant and dynamic approach to community engagement. By adapting to changes and continuously seeking ways to connect with the local youth, the team is making a lasting difference in the lives of those we interact with.

Another Busy week at Springs Family Centre

IIt’s been a busy start to the New year here at Springs Family Centre
This week we were visited by the High Sheriff of Northamptonshire, Milan Shah.
Here is what he had to say: “Thank you to Calum for taking the time and having the courage to share his journey with the High Sheriff: growing up in Northampton with no positive male role model, not engaging with the educational system, engaging with the criminal justice system, supported by CIRV and now, with the help of master musical mentor, Dimz, discovering a positive path in life expressed through music; all under the watchful eye of Clive at the Springs Family Centre in the centre of Northampton.”
